Hull City midfielder Sam Clucas is edging ever closer to joining Premier League side Swansea City.

Reports from Lincolnshire Live have suggested the deal will be somewhere in the region of £15 million plus a potential for £1.5 million worth of add-ons.

The midfielder didn’t feature in Hull’s 2-1 defeat to QPR last weekend with manager Leonid Slutsky revealing it was because he was preparing to play for a new club.

With Hull currently underperforming in the Championship so far this season, it can be understood why the former Chesterfield player wants to move onto pastures new in the Premier League.

During his short time at the Tiger’s Sam Clucas became a fan favourite at the KCOM Stadium and the Hull City supporters will surely be sad to see him go.

As we have seen before, sadness can quickly turn to anger especially in the realms of social media.

So, what do the Hull fans really think about Clucas’ departure? FLW writer Adam Goacher has taken to Twitter to see what the Tigers’ fans have to say…
