Championship duo Reading and Hull City are among the clubs interested in signing Senegalese striker Mbaye Diagne, according to a report in the Hull Dail Mail.

The report, sourced from Turkish-Football.com, claims that both clubs want to sign the 26-year-old, who has been impressing over the last twelve months with some excellent performances for Turkish side Kasimpasa.

The striker, who was signed by Juventus as a youngster but failed to make an impact for the Azzuri, banged in 12 goals last season for the Turkish side, and his form has caught the attention of a number of clubs over in England, with Premier League Bournemouth also looking at the player.

Diagne has had spells in China, Italy, and Turkey in his career so far, and he might well be open to adding another country to his CV by making a move to England and testing himself either in the top flight or the second tier.

Hull are looking to add new players this summer after a poor season last time out, while Reading have already added a new striker in Marc McNulty. However, manager Paul Clement is keen to keep adding quality to the squad, and he could well see Diagne as an ideal addition.

Royals and Tigers, what do you think to this? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
