Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo was in a superb mood yesterday following his side's 2-0 win over Reading yesterday, taking time out in his post match interview to lavish praise on his players.

Speaking to the club's official website following the game, Santo said he was 'delighted' with the three points and praised the character his team showed in what was a crucial victory for the table toppers.

"It was a tough game - we played against a good team, a team who created a lot of chances and caused us lots of problems. It was a good performance and a good result. They made us defend - it was a difficult game so it is very good for us to get the three points." said Santo.

The 2-0 win for Wolves made it three in a row of the same scoreline, and they jumped back above Sheffield United to the top of the Championship table.

Santo also added how he thought his side adapted well, and believes teams are 'adopting their shape' to try and combat his side's excellent attacking play. He also went out of his way to praise the Wolves fans, who followed in their droves once more, taking well in excess of 3,000  to Berkshire.

Wolves fans, what did you make of yesterday? Good performance? Let us know in the comments!
