Huge news for Nottingham Forest as Karanka expects to complete deals for five players

Nottingham Forest are set for a busy final few hours of the transfer window with the club expected to complete deals for no less than five players.

According to respected journalist Pete O’Rourke, the Reds are hoping to complete deals for Ben Watson, Lee Tomlin, Adele Guedioura, Michael Dawson, Jack Colback, and Hull City defender Michael Dawson.

New Forest manager Aitor Karanka is obviously keen to add some new faces to his squad, and after seeing his side capitulate against Preston North End, he has acted quickly on deadline day to add some real quality to his ranks.

Watson will join from Watford having been frozen out at Vicarage Road, while Cardiff striker Tomlin and former midfielder Guedioura have both been expected to complete moves throughout the day, as has Newcastle midfielder Jack Colback.

However, the shock move comes in the form of Dawson, who has been a regular for Hull City this season and will move to the City Ground as a direct replacement for Matt Mills, who has moved on to Barnsley.
