Swansea City picked up a much-needed win against struggling Brentford on Sunday to ease any pressure that may have been growing on manager Graham Potter.

The 3-2 win at Griffin Park kept the Swans' mid-table position just that and meant they maintained contact with the play-offs, sitting seven points below Middlesbrough, who currently occupy the final play-off spot.

They were dealt a big blow, however, when it was revealed that left-back Martin Olsson would miss the remainder of the season after he ruptured his Achilles against Brentford last weekend.

It is the same injury that kept Leroy Fer out of action since February and means Potter loses another senior member of his squad for the foreseeable future.

Olsson had made 17 appearances this season and a total of 75 since joining from Norwich City last summer, but will now not play again until the summer at the earliest.

The Swede is a popular figure among the club's fans so it was no surprise to see they were far from happy...
