Frank Lampard will need to plan for the tough trip to the Hawthorns for his Derby County side, knowing that he will have to do without 31-year-old midfielder Craig Bryson who limped off after 36 minutes, in the 2-1 over Sheffield United at the weekend, as reported in the Derby Telegraph.

The loss of Bryson will be a blow to Lampard as the Scot has been in fine form this season with two goals in his 13 appearances in all competitions so far this season.

So is the loss of Bryson a big blow for the Rams?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

Bryson has been a crucial member of Frank Lampard’s side so it is a huge blow for the Rams.

But Lampard has got good options available to him elsewhere in his squad with the likes of Bradley Johnson and Joe Ledley likely to be pushing for a starting spot for their game this week.

George Dagless

Fairly.

He's started well this season and looks like a favourite under Frank Lampard so in that sense he will be missed.

However, there's also a fair case to suggest Derby have players to come in for him.

Jay Taylor

Losing Craig Bryson is a blow, but Derby have a strength in depth that will allow them to fill the gap.

Having been loaned out to Cardiff last season, Bryson has made himself a mainstay in Frank Lampard’s side.

Derby visit West Brom tomorrow evening hoping the loss of the midfielder is not felt too much.

Gary Hutchinson

He’s been incredibly industrious and energetic this season.

If anything, he’s been the heart beat of the Derby side.

That’s why this will be a big blow for them.

Even for one game, his loss will be felt.
