Huddersfield Town fans will likely have seen some exciting signs in Carlos Corberan's first few months in charge of the club.

The Terriers are 13th in the Championship but there have been some glimpses of what the Spaniard's side could look like if they can consistently hit top gear.

Corberan has got some classy performers in his squad and some assets that would likely be worth a fair bit in the transfer market.

With that in mind, we've compiled a list of the top 10 most valuable players at the Yorkshire club, according to Transfermarkt.

Let us know your thoughts and whether you agree with what may be a controversial list...

The defensive duo are both relatively new to the John Smith's Stadium, with Toffolo arriving last January and Sarr joining in the summer.

They're also similar in that they offer defensive solidity and the ability to impact the game further up the field with their ball carrying and threat in the opposition box.

The 28-year-old is an experienced EFL striker and though he hasn't yet made much of an impact since joining Huddersfield in the summer, looks set to be a useful option for Corberan moving forward.

The Terriers snapped him up on a free transfer in the summer, so it's good news for them that's he's on this list.

The central midfielder has been a phenomenal servant to the Yorkshire club, having made nearly 250 appearances since joining seven years ago.

Hogg may do a lot of the unglamorous work on the pitch but he has been an integral cog at the John Smith's Stadium for some time now and that's reflected in his place on this list.

The 22-year-old is an academy product and one of the most exciting young players in the Huddersfield squad at the moment.

An all-action central midfielder, O'Brien's value will surely continue to grow as he develops over the next few years.

Schindler has been a mainstay in the Huddersfield town side since joining from 1860 Munich four years ago and has proven his worth time and time again.

At 30, the central defender's value is likely to drop over the next few years but he remains just outside the top five most valuable players in the squad.

This one may frustrate Huddersfield fans as Diakhaby has been far from convincing since joining the club for a fairly big fee from Monaco two years ago.

He's been reintroduced to the side this term and at 24 remains an exciting prospect but you feel he's still got a fair bit to do to persuade the John Smith's faithful of his worth.

Another 22-year-old that looks like he has a bright future ahead of him, it's no surprise to see the Ajax loanee high up on this list.

A midfielder that is industrious and has real quality in possession, Huddersfield will likely be wishing that Eiting was their player and not just in Yorkshire on a temporary deal.

The Terriers playmaker has been hampered by injuries in recent seasons but we've seen his quality in the past and that's why he's one of the most valuable players at the club.

Brentford and Norwich City were reportedly sniffing around him in the summer but you'd imagine Huddersfield will want to be fairly compensated should he leave in future windows.

Huddersfield fans will likely feel they haven't seen the best of Mbenza yet but the winger has all the attributes to suggest that he could be a dangerous weapon for Corberan if things work out.

Another player that arrived for a fairly big fee a few years ago, the 24-year-old is at number two at this list despite not really reaching top gear for the Terriers.

It's hard to argue with Bacuna being top of this list, considering he's just 23 and can be unplayable when he's at his best.

The midfielder was excellent at points last term and has been impressive under Corberan, so you feel his value will only continue to grow – particularly if he can start consistently producing at top gear.
