Huddersfield Town v Preston North End: Terriers duo axed after midweek win, North End unchanged – Confirmed XIs

Huddersfield Town and Preston North End will be looking to build on midweek victories today as they go head-to-head at the John Smith’s Stadium.  

Carlos Corberan has Huddersfield on a four-game unbeaten run, whilst Alex Neil’s Preston side have been electric away from home this season – collecting all their points on the road.

Kick-off is at 3pm, with Football League World reporting live from West Yorkshire, where we’ve just received today’s team news.

Team News  

For Huddersfield it’s two changes from the midweek win over Derby County with Carel Eiting and Josh Koroma dropping to the bench.

Lewis O’Brien returns, as does captain, Christopher Schindler, with Corberan reverting to a three-man defensive unit.

The Huddersfield team in full is: Hamer; Stearman, Schindler, Sarr; Pipa, Hogg, O’Brien, Toffolo; Bacuna, Campbell, Mbenza.

Subs: Pereira, Pritchard, Diakhaby, Eiting, Duhaney, Koroma, Crichlow.  

In terms of Preston, it’s an unchanged side from the XI that beat Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday evening.

The only change for Preston comes on the bench, with Tom Bayliss replacing Paul Gallagher.

The Preston team in full is: Rudd; Rafferty, Bauer, Storey, Hughes; Browne, Ledson; Sinclair, Johnson, Potts; Jakobsen.

Subs: Ripley, Huntington, Bayliss, Harrop, Barkhuizen, Maguire, Stockley.
