Huddersfield Town are having what can only be described as a superb season under David Wagner, and they are hot on the coat tails of Newcastle and Brighton in the top two.

The Terriers have been the surprise package in the Championship, and their exciting brand of attacking football under their German manager has been a refreshing change.

However, the German will know he will need to strengthen the ranks in the summer, with a host of loan players on the books set to return to their parent clubs.

The Terriers could look to League One for their next star. The third tier is currently playing host to plenty of talent, and Wagner would be smart to consider some of them.

Here, FLW looks at TWO League One stars Huddersfield Town could look to sign this summer…

Josh Vela

The 24-year-old midfielder is one of the most gifted midfielders in League One, and he is someone who seems more than capable of playing at a higher level.

The versatile Bolton man is currently impressing for the Trotters, and if Bolton are not promoted, a move could be in the offing.

He would be an excellent player for Huddersfield to sign, and would offer the club many years of service.

Bradley Dack

The Gillingham man has gone quiet this season following his heroics last term, but there is still a quality player there.

Dack has a wand of a left foot and could easily make the step up in class to the Championship.

Dack will no doubt be in demand once again come the summer, and a move to a club like Huddersfield would not be out of the question.
