The 6ft 2ins striker is said to have a similar playing style to former Arsenal striker Nwankwo Kanu, whilst not being the quickest he has two good feet and brings others into play according to sl10.ng.

Nwoko is also having a trial with Premier League side Crystal Palace from 21 July to 25 July and will then link up with Huddersfield Town on July 28 for a one-week trial.

In May the striker made two appearances for the Malta Under-17 side in the European Under-17 Championship.

Nwoko is eligible to play for Nigeria but he also holds a Maltese passport which means should he sign for a club in England, he would not require a work permit.
