Huddersfield Town are looking to continue their push for the top-six this season whilst for Gary Rowett and Derby County, it’ll be a case of finishing as high up the table as possible and preparing for a busy campaign next time out.
In Gary Rowett, the Rams have a man that is more than capable of guiding them up the table, just as he did during his time with Birmingham whilst for Huddersfield, David Wagner will be trying to guide his team into the Premier League.
But at the heart of both teams have been players that have had mixed seasons, despite on paper, being two of the best players in the squad.
For Huddersfield, Aaron Mooy has completely stolen the show after he made the loan move to Yorkshire from Manchester City.
The 26-year-old has enjoyed the best season of his career which has led to plenty of supporters suggesting he could in-fact break into the City first team next season.
Meanwhile for one-time starlet Will Hughes, it’s been a season of struggle, with injuries and bad form keeping him out of the side for prolonged periods of time.
There’s little doubt the one-time Real Madrid target has the quality to make it on the big stage but he needs to start showing it sooner rather than later.
So with that in mind, we want to hear from you- the football fans of England.
Using the poll below, cast your vote – who’s the better player between Aaron Mooy and Will Hughes?
