Huddersfield Town have been linked with midfield duo Keith Andrews and Sam Hutchinson, reports the Huddersfield Daily Examiner.

Andrews is out of contract at Bolton Wanderers this summer whilst Hutchinson has recently been released by Chelsea.

The 33-year-old Andrews, a Republic of Ireland international, spent last season on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion and helped the Seagulls finish in the Championship play-offs, where they were defeated by Derby County in the semi-finals.

He scored once in 31 appearances for Brighton last season and has expressed his desire to stay at the AMEX Stadium, but the situation is all up in the air with Oscar Garcia resigning after the Seagulls lost in the play-offs.

Hutchinson is wanted by a number of Championship clubs including the side he was on loan at for the latter half of last season, Sheffield Wednesday.

The 24-year-old progressed through the academy at Chelsea and made his senior debut in May 2007.

He retired from football in 2010 aged 21 due to a recurring knee injury but made a comeback 16 months later after a significant improvement.

He spent time on loan at Nottingham Forest during the 2012/13 season, scoring once in nine appearances.

Last season the midfielder, who can also play in defence, spent time on loan at Dutch side Vitesse, but only made one appearance and was recalled by Chelsea.

Hutchinson then joined Sheffield Wednesday in February on loan until the end of the season and scored once in ten appearances.
