Huddersfield Town defender Michael Hefele has refused to rule anything out as we enter the final stages in the race for automatic promotion, according to The Yorkshire Post.

A vital midweek victory over Aston Villa meant that Huddersfield maintained the pressure on the top two with just six points separating them from an automatic promotion spot with ten games to play.

Hefele is swiftly becoming a fans' favourite at Huddersfield Town and he won the man of the match award for his dominant defensive performance against Villa on Tuesday night.

He said:

“I am always excited at Huddersfield Town.

“But we have to just focus on ourselves and keep both our feet on the floor.

"Just work hard, game to game.

"We have achieved nothing yet."

The powerful German defender added:

"There are, though, possibilities for us, everyone knows that.

"And I do look at what the others are doing.

"We will see if they win every game or not.

“But, really, it is on us to win every game and collect as many points as we can.

"Huddersfield Town has no limits, we have been like that all season.

"Nothing changes."
