Huddersfield Town are set to announce the signing of Jonas Lossl, according to Mike McGrath of The Telegraph.

It's thought that the move would be a loan deal until the end of the season.

The 30-year-old goalkeeper has struggled to establish himself as Everton's number one goalkeeper since arriving at the club on a free transfer over the summer.

Lossl's previous club, coincidentally, was the Terriers who he represented for two years during their promotion-winning campaign and then their solitary season in the top flight.

But after Huddersfield were relegated to the Championship, the goalkeeper was allowed to move on.

Any move to bring the goalkeeper back to West Yorkshire would be a massive coup for Danny Cowley and his side.

Huddersfield need a goalkeeper following a head injury to the on-loan Kamil Grabara.

The verdict

This would be an outstanding piece of business if Huddersfield were to pull it off.

Jonas Lossl is a real fans' favourite at The John Smith Stadium with supporters gutted to see him move on last summer.

Things haven't really gone to plan at Everton and so it seems that this is a move to allow him to play regular first team football once again.

For Huddersfield, it could be exactly the sort of boost that they need going into the final third of the season.
