It could be a busy few days for Huddersfield Town as they look to add a striker to Danny Cowley's squad.

However according to reports, they may have just identified a potential target to fill the role.

The Watford Observer have claimed that the Terriers have joined the race to sign Watford striker Isaac Success.

The 24-year-old was a first team regular under Javi Gracia last term as he made 35 appearances for the Hornets, however this season has been a bit different.

Three different managers have meant that Success has been limited to just five appearances so far this term, hence the desire to let him leave the club on loan.

Anderlecht and Cardiff City have also been credited with an interest, so it remains to be seen where the striker's short-term future will lie.

Can you name Huddersfield Town's last 15 player of the year winners? Let's find out!

The verdict

A move for Isaac Success could be a good move for Huddersfield.

The 24-year-old is highly-rated at Vicarage Road but a lack of first team opportunities has led him to pursue his options elsewhere - at least in the short term.

Success is a player who would bring real pace and power to the Terriers, and based on what he's shown with Watford he's a player who looks very much suited to the Championship.

Whether Danny Cowley and co can get a deal done though, remains to be seen.
