It was confirmed last night officially that Huddersfield Town have sold 11,000 seasons ticket in the first four days that they have been on sale.

wagnerrrrrrrrr

This has already surpassed the amount of season ticket holders for this season and one of the main reasons for this was that the prices of season tickets which were slashed for the initial 10,000 fans. With prices set at just £179 for adults, £69 for 8-17 year-olds and £23 for Under-8s.

This incentivised approach gave season ticket holders the chance for renewal whilst at the same time providing the platform for returning Town fans or the next generation of Huddersfield fans to pick up a season ticket to watch cheap affordable football.

After 8,000 tickets were bought on the first day, it seemed that the 10,000 ticket target was going to be reached comfortably. Dean Hoyle has extended the discount deal for another 4,000 tickets and it seems that Huddersfield will comfortably have 15,000 season ticket holders.

Huddersfield has shown that to reward loyalty and treats fans as more than customers has led to the club having success in selling the tickets and it seems that the respect from the fans to the club has been reciprocated. With Huddersfield's success, it could be the blueprint and model for fellow sides to follow in the near future.

With the raised awareness about extortionate ticket pricing in the Premier League and the Football League, Huddersfield is one of the clubs leading the way and rightfully getting the plaudits for doing so.

There is clear optimism and a feel good factor around the John Smith Stadium and they have built a platform off the field for the West Yorkshire to have success on the field.
