Huddersfield complete deal for 25-year-old Australian international

Huddersfield Town have completed a season long-loan deal for Manchester City midfielder Aaron Mooey, according John Percy from the Daily Telegraph.

The journalist has revealed on Twitter that the 25-year-old Australian international will undergo a medical today at the John Smith’s stadium and the deal is expected to be completed by the end of the day.

The 25-year-old sealed his dream move from Melbourne City to the Premier League giants on Thursday, but the club have made the decision that he should continue his development in the Championship as he will struggle for first-team football in the upcoming term.

Mooey revealed that working under David Wagner is the sole reason why he made the temporarily switch to Huddersfield.

The Australian will link up with his new team mates this week as they prepare for their first Championship fixture of the season against Brentford at home on the 6th August.
