Swansea City have enjoyed a busy month in the transfer market with three loan players having already arrived at the Liberty Stadium during the first half of the window.

The South Wales side have signed striker Rhian Brewster from Liverpool as well as promising Chelsea duo Marc Guehi and Conor Gallagher, with the latter sealing his move to the Liberty Stadium on Wednesday after the Blues recalled him from Charlton.

Goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt is the only player to have departed the club after completing his move to Turkish side Genclerbirligi, which means the Swans have managed to increase their squad depth following the first two weeks of the window.

It does not appear that there will be many further additions to the Swansea squad during the remainder of the window, while the lack of news regarding the club's big names suggests there is unlikely to be many key departures from the Liberty this month.

Here, we take a look at how Swansea could line up following their recent transfer business...

The fact Nordfeldt has completed a permanent move away from South Wales means Freddie Woodman will now have even less competition for the number-one shirt, with Erwin Mulder now being his only serious competition between the sticks.

Swansea's best back-four line-up would then see Kyle Naughton and Connor Roberts deployed in the full-back roles with Mike van der Hoorn and Joe Rodon in the centre, while the like of Ben Wilmot, Ben Cabango and Guehi will also be pushing for a slot.

It should also be remembered that Rodon and Van der Hoorn are injured at present which means Swansea's current centre-back pairing would include Cabango and Wilmot, while Guehi may well interrupt this combination if he impresses early on.

There is now some interesting competition in the midfield roles following Gallagher's arrival at the club, and the best way of fitting him into the side could see him start alongside George Byers in centre-midfield with Matt Grimes playing a deeper role.

This would then see Bersant Celina and Andre Ayew start on the flanks as they have done for most of the season, and while Ghana Soccernet have reported that Leeds are showing an interest in Ayew this month, there has not yet been any development on this.

Bournemouth's decision to recall Sam Surridge from his loan spell led to Swansea recruiting Brewster until the end of the season, and he will now lead the line during the rest of the season, with Borja Baston likely to act as back-up for the Liverpool talent.

Although, Spanish outlet El Desmarque have claimed that Espanyol and Deportivo are both keen on moves for Borja, so it may end up being the case that Brewster is Swansea's sole striker for the remainder of the season.
