Raúl Albentosa’s time at Derby County was undoubtedly one to forget for all concerned parties.
The defender signed for Derby in January 2015 on a two-and-a-half year deal from Eibar, having previously played for Cadiz, Elche and San Roque.
The 33-year-old made his debut in a FA Cup clash with Chesterfield, before making a further eight appearances for the Rams.
It took two months for Albentosa to make his second appearance for Derby after making his debut against Chesterfield.
But after featuring nine times in all competitions, that was to be that in a Derby shirt for Albentosa.

Albentosa joined Malaga on loan for the 2015/16 season, but the Spanish club didn’t choose to sign him permanently.
Instead, the centre-half joined Deportivo La Coruna on a permanent deal, with his time at Derby coming to an end.
So what is Albentosa up to now?
After flattering to deceive on loan at Gimnastic, Albentosa left Deportivo after a three-year stay, joining CSKA Sofia in Bulgaria.
Albentosa made 20 appearances for CSKA before joining Romanian side Dinamo București, featuring 12 times during a spell which lasted a few months.
At the age of 33, Albentosa is without a club and it remains to be seen whether he puts his boots on again.
