Queens Park Rangers played out a 0-0 draw with Birmingham City at the weekend in the Sky Bet Championship and Mark Warburton will be looking for ways to add more goals to his side in the coming weeks.

The R's saw both Lyndon Dykes and Macauley Bonne on the field but neither managed to hit the net and so more attacking work on the training pitch is likely to be undertaken.

On that note, it might be of interest to see how some of the attackers that left on loan are doing so far this season and here we're looking at Olamide Shodipo who is off of the mark for Oxford United, despite only a few minutes of action.

The winger joined the League One side right at the end of the last transfer window but has already impressed U's fans with a brief glimpse of what he can do.

He was only on the pitch for a total of four minutes last week as he came on and during that brief spell, he crashed in a swirling effort to give Oxford a 3-1 lead.

Indeed, that goal would prove crucial as MK Dons responded in injury time and the match would finish 3-2, so he's done himself no harm in staking a claim quickly for a start in the coming weeks.

Oxford obviously want to get him up to speed and familiar with how they play so we might see him coming off of the bench in the next few matches but, clearly, if he can keep doing what he did at the weekend then starts will begin to flow.

For sure, both QPR and the player will hope that is what happens.
