Odin Bailey has made a relatively strong start to life in Scotland, since making the temporary move from Birmingham City to Livingston this summer.

The 21-year-old, who has been confined to just eight first-team appearances with the Championship club, spent last season in England's fourth-tier with Forest Green Rovers.

His spell in the south west proved to be rather productive for all parties involved. Bailey saw lots of game time in League 2, with the winger scoring three times and assisting a further four in 34 fourth-tier outings.

It was perhaps a spell where his goal contributions perhaps did not fully reflect his sheer attacking influence within Rovers' attacking frontline.

Bailey has now been tasked with a completely different kind of test and will be hoping that he can enjoy a successful year in Scotland's highest division.

In eight Scottish premiership matches, in which he has started six of them, Bailey has netted twice, with both of those goals coming in their last two games.

Despite predominantly operating on as an attacking midfielder last time out, the 21-year-old has been deployed on the right flank more often than not.

He has also been trusted as a centre-forward, and on the other wing already this campaign, with his adaptability and versatility set to do him well when he returns to The Blues at the end of his loan stint.

Bailey's goals for the Scottish outfit have come in back-to-back wins for Livingston, a spell that has lifted them outside the division's bottom two.

Cementing himself as a regular starter for The Lions, and displaying his goalscoring capabilities already this season, several Birmingham fans took to Twitter last week, with supporters wanting to see him back with The Blues as soon as possible.

Should Bailey continue to impress at Livingston, then he will have every chance of breaking into Birmingham's first team in the near future.

He has all the tools to be a success at St Andrew's, and Blues fans are rightfully excited about what is to come from the 21-year-old.
