Huddersfield Town have enjoyed a strong season so far, with Carlos Corberan's side in the mix for a play-off spot.

That may have come as a surprise to outsiders, as the boss wasn't exactly backed with big money in the market, whilst he had to contend with several players departing, including Juninho Bacuna.

The midfielder had been a regular for the Terriers over the years, but with his deal running down, the Yorkshire outfit made the decision to cash in on the 24-year-old, who secured a move to Rangers.

With Steven Gerrard's side champions of Scotland, it was never going to be easy for Bacuna to break into the XI and that's proven to be the case in the early days, as he's had to be patient for opportunities.

So far, the former Groningen man has made four appearances in the league, all from the bench, whilst a slight knock against Sparta Prague meant he was withdrawn in the first-half of the Europa League clash he's started.

Pleasingly for Bacuna, you would imagine for game time will follow in the coming weeks as Rangers are competing in Europe, in the cup and in the league, so the fixtures are coming thick and fast.

Having said that, competition for places is fierce at Ibrox, and with Steven Davis, Ryan Jack, Joe Aribo, John Lundstram and Scott Arfield all options, Bacuna is going to have to shine when he does feature if he wants to become a regular.

Right now, the ex-Huddersfield man will recognise that he is still adapting to his new surroundings but Bacuna will hope to become a more prominent figure for Rangers over the coming months.
