It's safe to say that Derby County haven't had the season they would have hoped for so far in this year's Championship campaign.

The Rams are currently sat bottom of the second-tier standings after their opening 12 matches of the 2020/21 season, which has recently seen Phillip Cocu relieved of his duties in charge of the club.

It was an interesting summer transfer window for Derby as well, with the club signing a number of players to strengthen their squad, after some notable departures.

One of those to depart in the summer was defender Jayden Bogle, who had made 90 appearances for the club, which included a hugely impressive campaign in the 2019/20 season, as the Rams finished tenth in the Championship table.

Bogle joined Sheffield United, in the hope of playing his part in another push for a top-ten finish in the Premier League.

But that hasn't been the case for a Blades side that have struggled in this year's campaign under the management of Chris Wilder, much to the concern of the club's supporters.

Sheffield United are currently sat bottom of the Premier League table after their opening nine matches of the 2020/21 season, and are already four points adrift of safety.

Bogle made his Sheffield United debut against Burnley in the second round of the EFL Cup, but that is the only appearance that the full-back has made for his new club.

Max Lowe and George Baldock have been Wilder's first-choice full-backs this season, with Lowe not being in the matchday squad for any of their matches in the top-flight, which will be frustrating for the 20-year-old.

But with Sheffield United's poor run of form so far this season, it will be interesting to see whether Bogle is to feature for the Blades in their upcoming matches, with the season-defining festive period edging closer.

Lowe and his Sheffield United team-mates are next in action on Saturday evening, when they take on West Brom at The Hawthorns.
