Huddersfield Town's relegation from the Premier League signalled the start of a big rebuilding job.

The summer transfer window saw a number of high profile players such as Aaron Mooy, Zanka and Tommy Smith leave the club, but the most notable was surely Philip Billing.

The 23-year-old completed a £15million switch to Bournemouth after an impressive season for the Terriers.

Considering Huddersfield's struggles in the Premier League, Billing looked at home in the top flight and enjoyed a decent season that scored him scoring two goals in 27 appearances from midfield.

The switch to the South Coast was always going to be a real test of his Premier League credentials, so how has Philip Billing got on this term?

It's safe to say that the midfielder has settled into life at the Vitality Stadium like a duck to water.

Billing has been a virtual ever-present for the Cherries in the Premier League after missing just 45 minutes of action so far this season.

The 23-year-old has been operating a defensive midfield role where he's averaged over two tackles, interceptions and clearances per game.

During his time at Huddersfield we saw that Billing is an excellent technical player, and that has seem him fit in perfectly with Eddie Howe's side.

According to Whoscored.com, Billing has an average pass accuracy of 78.4% which is a decent record, however the 0.5 key passes per game average is perhaps an indication of the more conservative role that he's playing.

But that role has been the perfect fit for him as he he's quickly established himself on the South Coast.

For anyone who doubted Philip Billing's ability to firmly establish himself in the Premier League, he's certainly shown that he has what it takes.

Better yet, he seems to be improving all of the time.
