10 years ago today, Nottingham Forest defeated Crystal Palace at the City Ground as the Reds continued to apply the pressure on the automatic promotion chasers.

Goals from Wes Morgan and Nathan Tyson secured a 2-0 victory for Billy Davies' side, who equalled a club record of 12 straight home wins on that cold Tuesday night.

It was Chris Cohen who produced a standout performance for the Reds, though, with the midfielder continuing to play a key role in the Reds' bid for promotion to the Premier League.

10 years on, Cohen remains an adored figure at the City Ground, and is now being recognised for his work off the pitch rather than his work on it.

Arriving as a fresh-faced 20-year-old from Yeovil Town, Cohen hit the ground running in his first season on Trentside, helping Forest win automatic promotion from League One.

The versatile midfielder was to spend a further 10 seasons with the East Midlands club, helping ignite pushes for promotion and surviving relegation battles along the way.
