Ike Ugbo spent one season with Barnsley from 2017 to 2018.

Ugbo was 18-years old at the time and on loan from Chelsea.

He featured 16 times for the club as they finished 22nd in the Championship, relegating them to League One.

Since then, Ugbo has gone on to feature for the likes of MK Dons, Scunthorpe United, Roda JC and Cercle Brugge while on loan from the London club.

Ugbo was also a  presence in Chelsea’s Premier League 2 side while playing minutes for the underage teams at the club.

Ugbo featured 15 times for MK Dons in League One when they were relegated to League Two in 2017-2018 and made 15 appearances for Scunthorpe when they were relegated from League One in 2018-19.

Ugbo enjoyed great success in the Netherlands with second division side Joda, where the club finished 16th, with the player making 32 appearances for the side.

The Canadian eventually left Chelsea in 2021, signing for Beligan side Genk.

Ugbo featured 18 times for his new club as he played a role in the side finishing eighth in the table.

He has since gone back out on loan as he has moved to French club Troyes, who are currently 16th in Ligue 1.
