Forest fans will be keeping a close eye on how Johnson performs for Lincoln, after seeing Tyler Walker score 16 goals for the Imps before being recalled last January.
Here, we take a look at how Johnson has performed for the Imps thus far…
Johnson made his debut for Lincoln in a 2-0 home win over Charlton at the end of last month, coming on for the final 20 minutes and helping the Imps grind out a win.
He made his first start for the club a week later, playing on the right-wing and winning two penalties, as Michael Appleton’s side won 3-2 away at Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.
Johnson is seemingly thriving out wide, and he produced arguably his best performance of the season so far in a 2-0 home victory over Plymouth Argyle last week.
Johnson won another penalty for the Imps, before heading in from inside the area to secure a 2-0 win over Ryan Lowe’s side.
The 19-year-old is clearly enjoying his football under Michael Appleton, then, with the Imps currently leading the way in Sky Bet League One after picking up 19 points from their opening eight games.
