Angel Rangel became a bit of a Swansea City legend during his time at the club, with him racking up hundreds of appearances at full-back whilst in south Wales.

Arriving from Spain in 2007, Rangel very much made Swansea his club in the following decade or so, with him becoming one of the players synonymous with arguably the side's best ever era.

Helping them rise into the Premier League and to feature in Europe, Rangel was a regular, reliable presence in the side more often than not, with him playing well over 300 league games in the white of Swansea before eventually moving on in 2018.

He then headed to Queens Park Rangers where he again proved a popular figure, imparting his experience on the Hoops' side and putting in consistent performances, making over 40 league appearances for them.

His time there, and his career in truth, was cut before he would have liked, however, with him picking up a tear to Achilles tendon in 2020, which led to his retirement in 2021.

Indeed, earlier this year he revealed he would not be returning to the game and now he is looking for his next challenge, with him saying he would like to stay in football whilst he has regularly been involved in community projects at both Swansea and QPR in his time with their respective clubs.

Having spent so much time on these shores, too, it's hard to see him not popping up sooner rather than later at a club in the UK.
