Leeds United have recently been linked with the January signing of Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth.
The 20-year old featured in the Argentinian national side for the first time in his career this week, but his first-team opportunities at the North London club have been sparse due to an array of solid, defensive options.
Foyth has made eight starts for Spurs since his £8million arrival from Estudiantes in 2017, but they have all come in cup competitions and he is yet to feature in the Premier League for Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
Nevertheless, the young defender looks to be a real prospect and could be a shrewd signing for fellow countryman Marcelo Bielsa, whose Leeds side have won just one of their last four league games.
The Yorkshire club prepare to travel to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday afternoon, and the Whites sit third in the table after twelve league games.
Here, we take a look at fans’ reactions to recent speculation linking them with a move for Juan Foyth.

Is this just a Poch – Bielsa – Argie link? I hope not! This would be a good signing. iMo

Tbf Foyth was bought as one for the future. He needs to be loaned to Leeds in January for more game time and then a view taken at the end of the season as to whether he’s good enough.
