According to Adam Pope of BBC Radio Leeds, members of Leeds City Council could approve a proposal for the former home of Matthew Murray High School to become a new state-of-the-art training facility for the club at a meeting next week.

According to Pope, the site has been embarked by the club as the new home for their new training ground and academy, although what would happen to their current training headquarters at Thorp Arch remains to be seen.

Yorkshire Evening Post claim that the club's new training ground would be designed and delivered to meet the requirements for Premier League training and academy facilities.
