Plenty of Leeds United fans have taken to social media to give their reaction to an update on the plans to improve the club’s training facilities.
According to Adam Pope of BBC Radio Leeds, members of Leeds City Council could approve a proposal for the former home of Matthew Murray High School to become a new state-of-the-art training facility for the club at a meeting next week.
According to Pope, the site has been embarked by the club as the new home for their new training ground and academy, although what would happen to their current training headquarters at Thorp Arch remains to be seen.
Yorkshire Evening Post claim that the club’s new training ground would be designed and delivered to meet the requirements for Premier League training and academy facilities.
Plenty of Leeds fans have taken to social media to react to the news and give their thoughts on the plans for the club’s proposed new training ground. Some supporters were pleased with the plans, while others questioned whether it would be the right decision.

I'm sure people more in the know have already looked into this but the site seems awfully small for a what I would assume would be a high category training and academy centre

So while lesser clubs are selling their grounds to make artificial profits, the best club in the world is buying land to benefit our youngsters. Thank you Mr Bielsa for making us who we are today. #LUFC

why didn't they purchase all the land that used to be the carpark and the old Fullerton Road pitches. Seems like a missed opportunity to have all on one site….instead of ice rinks…could have rebuilt a massive new stadium on the curve of the M621..ah well.. best laid plans eh

Let the Leeds team train in a carbon monoxide corridor just off the motorway and Leeds ring road… can't be very healthy, long term????
