Aston Villa came crashing down to Earth last night as they lost at home to QPR in the Championship in what was a shocking result.

The men from Villa Park had their tails up going into the game after they beat Wolves 4-1 on Saturday to help boost their title challenge.

However, their result last night has surely left them with a big task to get into the top two now with both their Midlands rivals and Cardiff winning yesterday evening.

Steve Bruce, then, must be tempted to shake his side up for their game against Bolton this weekend and with Neil Taylor getting injured last night, he's got some changes to make anyway more than likely.

Let's take a look at an alternative XI he could play at the weekend, then...

Sam Johnstone should remain in between the sticks.

Bruce is likely going to have to shuffle his pack and so Bree could come into the side.

Chester should start this one at centre-half.

Terry struggled last night but will likely keep his spot for the weekend.

With Taylor likely out and Alan Hutton struggling, too, Elmohamady could be shunted to the left.

Snodgrass could go down the right in a differently-shaped midfield to Villa's usual.

We could see Grealish drop into a more central role despite a poor game last night.

Alongside him comes in Bjarnason as both Jedinak and Hourihane are dropped.

Albert Adomah will be determined to fire Villa back to winning ways.

Grabban should remain in the side.

Hogan could also come in as Villa look to go more attacking.
