Crawley Town forward Izale McLeod looks all the more likely that he’ll be leaving the Broadfield Stadium in the near future with interest from Notts County, Barnsley and Southend United, according to HITC.
The forward netted 21 goals for the Red Devil’s last season as the club finished 22nd in League One, suffering relegation as a result.
McLeod, 30, has certainly hit a purple patch in front of goal during his one season with the club, but amidst recent interest from numerous League One sides, he could well be on his way.
Given the club’s recent relegation and the proof that he can score goals in League One, the forward is all the more likely to be moving away from the Broadfield Stadium in the near future, with the club holding out for an appropriate figure.
Crawley Town begin life in League Two with a trip to the Kassam Stadium on 8 August before welcoming AFC Wimbledon to the Broadfield Stadium a week later.
McLeod’s experience of plying his trade in the Football League would make him an astute purchase for any League One club, with his pace and power proving very effective in the third tier.
