Liverpool’s Joao Teixeira could be on the move with lots of Championship clubs interested in his signature, according to HITC.
Bolton Wanderers are a club who are interested in Teixeira, although it’s likely he would only be interested in a move to a club in a relegation battle.
Teixeira is considered a big talent where he came through the youth ranks with both Braga and Sporting Lisbon, but made his move to Liverpool in the January 2012 transfer window,
Liverpool decided to go ahead with a move after he impressed academy manager Frank McParland in a 2011/12 NextGen Series game for Lisbon against Liverpool.
Teixeira, 22, was sent out on loan to Brighton & Hove Albion last season where he appeared on 35 occasions, scoring six goals.
But, he missed the end of the season after he suffered a broken leg in April in a goalless draw with Huddersfield Town.
Since then Teixeira appeared for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, where he impressed in a 1-0 win over Bournemouth in the League Cup, assisting Nathaniel Clyne for the only goal of the game.
Although, this has been his only appearance for the 2015/16 season.
The 22-year-old clearly has what it takes to compete in the Sky Bet Championship, and it would be a real coup if any second tier team could snap up the wide midfielder.
