Hibernian striker Jason Cummings is the interest of six Sky Bet Championship clubs, and they are all sending scouts to watch him in Sunday’s Scottish League Cup final, HITC Sport reports.
Those clubs are Fulham, Burnley, Derby, Cardiff, Wolves and Brighton.
The Scottish striker is one of the hottest young prospects north of the border, and has four Under 21 appearances.
The 20-year-old has been at Hibs since 2013, and has impressive scoring record, with 31 goals in 70 games.
Whilst he had a spell at Hibs’s Edinburgh rivals Hearts during his youth career, the youngster decided to sign a full-time contract at Easter Road, and has helped his side to third in the Scottish Championship, and are two points behind second place Falkirk.
Hibs boss Alan Stubbs commented on possible interest from Bristol City last month, although it is not believed that they are one of Cummings’s potential suitors.
Fulham may need a striker this summer with plenty of interest in Ross McCormack and Moussa Dembele, whilst Burnley and Brighton may be considering a move for Cummings as extra depth should they gain promotion to the Premier League this season. Derby and Wolves have been short of goals of late, so a move for him in the summer could mean they are front-runners for the league title next season.
