‘Horrible news’ ‘Give the bloke a break’ – Loads of Leeds fans have reacted to this latest managerial update

If you had offered Leeds United fans the option of their team being in second place with 31 matches played I am sure they would have bitten your hand off.
But, believe it or not, that is the position they currently find themselves in and nerves are beginning to rattle as the prospect of returning to the Premier League becomes ever more real.
A lot of credit must go to manager Marcelo Bielsa who has done a remarkable job turning an ailing squad into one of the most impressive outfits in the Football League in the blink of an eye.

It marks a huge change in managerial fortunes from last season but Leeds fans were given another reminder of that campaign when Sky Sports reported that Paul Heckingbottom was close to being named the new manager of Hibernian.
Heckingbottom took over as boss at Elland Road in February last season but only lasted until the end of the campaign, winning very few fans along the way.
And here is how the Leeds fans reacted to this latest news…
Give the bloke a break. He was never good enough and should never have been given the job at Leeds, but that's not his fault. Any one of us would take the job if offered. Good luck to him I say, maybe without the pressure he had with us he'll do well for them. Good luck Paul.

I always liked Hibs. It’s all so sad. Chin up. It won’t last long at least. ????
