Ryan Yates has established himself as a key player for Nottingham Forest this season under Sabri Lamouchi, in what has been a hugely positive campaign for the Reds thus far.

The 22-year-old broke into the team under Martin O'Neill in the second half of last season, producing a series of impressive performances before picking up an injury.

But since returning from a spell on the sidelines, Yates has made 19 appearances under Lamouchi this season, and his performances have divided opinions amongst the Forest faithful.

Yates isn't the most technically gifted on the ball compared to the likes of Tiago Silva and Samba Sow, and those two players are definitely Lamouchi's preferred duo to play alongside Ben Watson.

But what Yates does offer is tenacity and a bit of bite in the middle of the park, and his work rate can never be faulted.
