Queens Park Rangers fans have reacted to Middlesbrough’s signing of Grant Hall.
Hall, 28, left QPR before the restart after failing to agree a new deal with the club. He’s since signed for Neil Warnock’s Middlesbrough, and it’s brought about a mixed response from the R’s faithful.
He left QPR as club captain. Last season was his fifth at the club and his best in three – he made just 16 combined league appearances through the course of the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons having suffered with a persistent knee injury.
Can you name the mascot of these 40 EFL clubs? Have a go now!
Fans were torn between his departure. Some wanted him to stay on whilst others were glad to see the back of him. But now a Boro man, he’ll line-up for another Championship outing against next month.
Upon announcing the signing yesterday, plenty of QPR fans took to Twitter to have their say on the transfer, and here’s what a select few of them had to say:
Horrendous signing lads, injury prone and can’t defend 👍🏼 surprised that Warnock has gone for him

Good signing there, Boro. Had terrible injury problems but was ever present pre-lockdown & had his best goal-scoring season too. Decent enough in the air and on the deck, can also play DM. Became captain of us last season and took it on well – if he stays fit he's 👍🏻
