‘Hopefully this will build his confidence’ – These Aston Villa fans are pleased with 28-y/o’s latest performance

Aston Villa kept up the pressure on the top six, but were forced to settle for a point against Stoke City at Villa Park on Saturday, but Dean Smith’s side remain in the hunt for a top six finish.

Villa were behind twice in this game but goals from Tammy Abraham and a late Jonathan Kodjia equaliser saw Smith’s side come away with a point.

It means that Villa are just three points adrift of Middlesbrough who occupy the last play-off place heading towards Christmas, so they are well in contention.

Smith’s side have their toughest test of the season so far next weekend when they take on Leeds United in what is sure to be a fiercely contested battle at Villa Park.

One man who will be keen to build on some impressive performances for Villa is Orjan Nyland, who made a positive impact and kept Villa in the game at times against Stoke this weekend.

But how did supporters react to his latest impressive performance?
