Plenty of Swansea City fans have ripped into defender Jake Bidwell following his shoddy performance against QPR in the FA Cup on Sunday.

He was signed by the Swans during the summer after being allowed to leave the West London club but failed emphatically to make a positive impression as they were hammered 5-1.

The R's were 3-0 up by half-time with Jordan Hugill netting twice either side of a Bright Osayi-Samuel strike, but George Byers pulled one back on the hour to hint at a comeback.

But two incredible strikes followed. First Lee Wallace rifled a lethal volley into the back of the net to restore the three-goal lead before Josh Scowen one-upped him with a brilliant, looping strike of his own.

However, it was not enough to save Bidwell from the wrath of the fans and after the final whistle, plenty of them took to Twitter to critique his display...
