Charlton forward Lyle Taylor has shared an enigmatic message as he edges closer to a return from his knee injury which has kept him out of action since late August.

The 29-year-old was in a rich vein of form at the start of the campaign as he netted five goals in Charlton's first six games, but he has now not featured since the end of August after picking up an injury while on international duty with Montserrat.

Taylor's injury proved to be the start of the Addicks' recent injury crisis which has seen a number of key players sidelined, and this has also had a negative effect on results with Lee Bowyer's side now without a victory in seven matches.

The Addicks boss has told South London Press that Taylor will travel with the squad for their trip to Middlesbrough over the weekend, and Charlton will be hoping the former AFC Wimbledon man is able to help turn around the club's fortunes.
