‘Hope we are brave’ – These Bristol City fans suggest replacements after injury blow

Bristol City have suffered a huge blow to their play-off hopes as striker Benik Afobe is reportedly set to miss the rest of the season due to injury and many Robins fans have been quick to suggest who should step up.
Afobe arrived at Ashton Gate on loan from Stoke City on transfer deadline day and has made a fast start to the season, scoring three goals in six appearances.
With the Robins currently fourth, it looked like he was set to be a vital part of their play-off push this season, however, it now seems he is unlikely to play any further part this term.
Who should replace Afobe?
Semenyo

According to the Bristol Post, Afobe has ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament and is now set to miss the rest of the season.
The recovery from such injuries tends to take around nine months, meaning the 26-year-old will almost definitely not return in the 2019/20 campaign.
City made no secret of their search for a new striker in the summer but with the transfer window now closed have limited options moving forward.
Many Robins fans have taken to Twitter to suggest potential replacements for Afobe.

The footballing gods really don’t want us to get that No.9 do they? 3 transfer windows, then Afobe comes along out of the blue, looks the part and now this. Hope we are brave and don’t change the system and ask Semenyo to get on the shoulder and let @kaseypalmer45 do his thing
