Sheffield Wednesday are believed to be interested in a deal to sign Cheltenham defender Will Boyle according to a recent report from Football Insider.

Boyle has been with the League Two club since 2017, and has caught the eye with some impressive performances this season, as Cheltenham Town clinched promotion into the third-tier of English football.

He has made 36 appearances in all competitions for the Robins, and will be keen to finish this year’s campaign strongly, having chipped in with seven goals this term.

Sheffield Wednesday could potentially face Cheltenham Town next season, with the Owls’ survival hopes hanging by a thread. Darren Moore’s side are currently sat 23rd in the second-tier standings, and are four points adrift of safety heading into their final two matches of the 2020/21 season.
