Leeds United are plotting a move for Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton on loan in January, according to Teamtalk.

It's fair to say there is a mini goalkeeper crisis at Elland Road at present, with Jamal Blackman being sent back to his parent club Chelsea after fracturing his tibia.

This ultimately leaves Marcelo Bielsa's side with one recognised senior goalkeeper in Bailey Peacock-Farrell, who of late, has received criticism from sections of the Leeds United support, for a string of unconvincing displays.

These events have seemingly lead to Victor Orta and co identifying potential goalkeeper additions as we approach the January transfer window, and it seems that England international Tom Heaton is someone they have identified.

The 32-year-old has lost his place in the Burnley side with Joe Hart being preferred by manager Sean Dyche, and it seems the Premier League side will allow Heaton to depart on loan in two months time.

This news is likely to cause debate amongst the Elland Road faithful, so we took to Reddit to gage the general opinion of Leeds fans on this particular transfer rumour.
