West Brom's sporting and technical director Luke Dowling has admitted that the club will sell players if their valuation is met in the January window.

In an honest interview with the Express & Star, the former Nottingham Forest man revealed how the club shouldn't be 'scared' to move players on, insisting they have a recruitment team in place to find a replacement.

The Baggies managed to prevent key players such as Jay Rodriguez, Kieran Gibbs and Craig Dawson leaving in the summer, with the latter desperate to move having handed in a transfer request.

So, whilst that proves that Albion won't be bullied in the market, some were concerned that it could see key players leave in the New Year.

With Darren Moore's men pushing for promotion that would be a serious blow mid-season.

Meanwhile, others understood that it's how football works and appreciated the honesty from Dowling.

Here's how some reacted to the news on twitter...
