Queens Park Rangers have very little left to play for other than pride for the remainder of the 2017/18 campaign and boss Ian Holloway will probably have next season firmly in his mind.

Holloway's men recently secured a superb 3-1 victory away at Aston Villa and that result along with a superb draw against promotion chasing Fulham has pretty much guaranteed their Championship status for next season.

Rangers aren't blessed with the biggest of budgets when it comes to signing new players and it would appear that resources will once again be restricted for the Hoops ahead of the summer transfer window.

Holloway is something of a specialist when it comes to wheeling and dealing for new recruits and FLW writer Lee Clarke looks at three free agents that the R's boss could swoop for at the end of the campaign.

The Stoke City central midfielder was a big part of Holloway's famous Blackpool team that won promotion to the Premier League in 2010 and a reunion would be a real coup for the R's.

Adam would represent an ambitious move by Holloway if he could lure him to Loftus Road and at 32-years-old Adam would relish the chance to play regular first-team football.

A fully fit Jack Hobbs is still a very good Championship central defender and Holloway might see the Forest defender as a risk worth taking in the summer.

Hobbs has played just once in the Championship this season due to a long standing back problem but the R's boss might be prepared to take a risk on the 29-year-old in an attempt to bolster his back line.

The Derby County performer hasn't played much football for the Rams this season and at this stage it looks unlikely that Gary Rowett will renew his current deal.

Holloway would surely relish Hanson's ability to play pretty much anywhere across the back four or in midfield and his tough-tackling persona would be a quality attribute for a club such as the Hoops.
