Chris Wilder has continued to amaze with Sheffield United this season and has taken the Blades into a battle for automatic promotion after 17 games.

They currently sit fourth in the table, but they are just one point behind second-placed Middlesbrough and just three behind league-leaders, Norwich City.

United made a similar start to the Championship campaign last season only to fall away just after Christmas, but they will be determined to have learnt from that.

There have been plenty of standout performers at Bramall Lane this season, with Billy Sharp continuing to score for fun, Dean Henderson proving a star in the sticks and John Egan a rock at the back.

But, arguably the club's player of the season so far has been midfielder Ollie Norwood.

Playing at the base of the United midfield, the Northern Irishman has controlled the game for the Blades brilliantly. So much so that fan favourite Paul Coutts currently faces a real struggle to regain his spot.

A stunning cross-field pass he made in the Steel City derby last Friday was shared by the club today and it is safe to say the fans absolutely loved it...
