Aston Villa fans have the bragging rights in Birmingham after their team emerged as 1-0 victors in the Second City derby clash with Harry Redknapp's Birmingham City last Sunday.

And now they have even more reason to mock their fierce rivals.

The Football Association have issued Birmingham City Paul Robinson with a three game suspension for violent conduct.

This was as a result of an incident off the ball during the clash with Aston Villa, where he appeared to kick and punch James Chester as the Welshman was running off to join Gabby Agbonlahor in celebrating Villa's goal.

The veteran defender denied the charge of violent conduct against him but an Independent Regulatory Commission found him guilty and slammed him with a three match ban.

This means that Robinson will miss the rest of the season as Birmingham prepare for a relegation battle.

Here are how Aston Villa fans reacted to this news on Twitter.
