Swansea City manager Graham Potter has begun his re-building works at the Liberty Stadium, after a solid season that saw the Swans finish in 10th place in the Championship, nine points off a top six finish.
One player who looks to be finally heading out of South Wales is winger Luciano Narsingh, who has enjoyed a painful time at the club, after massively falling out of favour, with a potential move to Fenerbache on the cards, according to Fotomac via Sport Witness.
So are Swansea right to give Narsingh the ‘green light’ to leave the club this summer?
“Absolutely, he didn’t feature much at all, did he?
“Swansea are a work in progress, a slow-burning side developing over time.
“This is just another step in managing the squad, I hope.
“They do need some solid signings too though.”
“Yes, they need to reduce the wage bill desperately.
“Narsingh has barely featured for Swansea this season and he is very much on Premier League wages, which is something Swansea need to eradicate.
“His career has stalled in South Wales, and a move abroad looks the best option.”
“This is probably the right decision.
“After all the expectation Narsingh just hasn’t lived up to the hype at Swansea.
“With his contract set to expire Swansea won’t get a transfer fee out of him, but you imagine shedding his wages will still do their precarious financial position a favour.”
“I think it’s for the best.
“This is a transfer that really has not worked and it is for the best that Swansea ship him out.
“It is a complete waste of a money keeping him and Potter will need as much available to him as possible.”
