Leeds United play host to in-form Aston Villa at Elland Road on Friday night.

The match is set to provoke an excellent atmosphere in front of a packed out Elland Road - and Whites boss Thomas Christiansen has some big team selection dilemmas ahead of the clash.

One player who was so pivotal last season, yet cannot seem to get a game this year, is winger Hadi Sacko.

The Ivorian is struggling to make an impression under Christiansen, and is unlikely to start on Friday night.

But should Christiansen unleash him from the bench as an impact sub?

We discuss.....

Adam Simeoni

His career at Elland Road is over.

He's not been given a chance so far, so I doubt that will change now.

George Dagless

Perhaps.

Villa are a different team and their full-backs are looking good at the moment but one thing they do have is an ageing side.

They won't relish the likes of a fresh Sacko coming on towards the end of the game to run at them and so there's a good argument to support this happening.

Chris Gallagher

He should certainly consider him.

Villa aren't the quickest team and the thought of Sacko running at them will worry the defenders.

However, the way Leeds' attacking midfielders are performing it would have to be as a sub, but it's a nice option to have.

Alfie Burns

Sacko tore Villa apart twice last season, and you would imagine that is already playing on Steve Bruce’s mind.

Of course, Sacko has been nowhere near Leeds’ starting XI this season, but from the bench he can cause Villa problems.

The tricky winger can be inconsistent, but when he is on top of his game, he could be a real matchwinner.
