Wolverhampton Wanderers have been handed a major boost in the hunt for one of their top transfer targets.

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has confirmed that Terry Taylor wants to push through a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer, the Aberdeen FC official Twitter account reports.

Wolves now look set to complete the deal to secure the services of the young wonder kid.

Terry Taylor is rated as one of the hottest young talents in Scotland and he could make a name for himself in England.

The 16-year-old would join up with the Wolves academy as he looks to continue his progression and development.

After making his debut for Aberdeen under-20s as a 14-year-old, Terry Taylor has continued to show his worth with his midfield displays in the youth teams at Aberdeen.

Wolves have been tracking the Dons' starlet for a while and now look set to prise him away.

As part of the deal, Wolves would be required to pay a fee to Aberdeen.

The Sun are reporting that Wolves are readying a £100,000 bid for the teenage talent.

Wolves are continuing to look for players who will improve their squad in the future as well as first team additions.

The Wales under-16 star, who has also captained the Welsh under-15 team, is a top target for the West Midlands based side as they aim to strengthen their academy.
